Kwan Yong Construction Pte Ltd is a wholly -owned subsidiary of Kwan Yong Holdings Limited, which is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 8 January 2020 (Stock Code 9998:HK). Since its establishment in 1984, Kwan Yong Construction has grown into a company known for delivering award-winning construction projects across the public, commercial and private sectors.

1984

- Our Company was incorporated in Singapore on 17 May 1984

1991

- Completed our first major project of an office building at King Albert Park

1994

- Completed our first education institution building construction project for public sector as the main contractor

1997

- Spearheaded one of Singapore’s design and build projects, and constructed two aged homes with precast structural elements
- Obtained ISO 9001:2008 in December 1997

2002

- Obtained ISO 14001:2004 in February 2002.

2009

- Attained bizSAFE Level Star certification & bizSAFE Partner certification

2012

- Adoption of BIM (“Building Information Modelling”) technology in construction

2014

- Adoption of pre-cast technology in construction

2017

- First obtained Occupational safety and health (OSH) management systems - SS 506 Part 1:2009 & BS OHSAS 18001:2007

2018

- Upgrade to A1 Grade under the CW01 Workhead for “General Building” (BCA
- Achieved CONQUAS* Star for two public institution projects
- Adopted Mass Engineered Timber (“MET”) technology for new construction project in an education institution
- Awarded new construction project for a statutory board’s office building

2019

- Application of PPVC technology in construction
- Obtained ISO 45001:2018 in April 2019
